Customer Communications and Technical Services Specialist
Business Solutions Unit, CAE Healthcare Academy
Is responsible for assisting with the growth and development of the Business Solutions department through customer communication and support services for the LearningSpace product. Is responsible for coordinating support efforts with LearningSpace Support team in Hungary. Actively participates in sales support by managing product trial versions and demonstrations. Also responsible for the creation and internal management of product hardware documentation, configuration and testing. Provides active participation in the overall growth and development of the division.
Director, Business Solutions
Provides North America-based LearningSpace phone and email support and coordinates efforts with Hungarian-based LearningSpace Support Team
Responsible for data analysis of telephone support services
Responsible for LearningSpace Trial Site management in the form of site creation, tracking, demonstration, and follow up communication
Creates and manages internal and external product documentation, such as Acceptance Test Procedures, and imaging and assembly instructions for Customer Service and manufacturing
Collaborates with Healthcare Academy documentation team for all external product documentation
Shares in the representation of LearningSpace Customer Service to existing user community by fostering CS communication
Responsible for enhancing LearningSpace customer service through monthly scheduled webinars
Responsible for the organization of the Business Solutions network server
Responsible for configuring, updating and testing equipment and software
Responsible for QA of returned equipment and replacement of LearningSpace equipment
Responsible for assisting with LearningSpace Configuration Management
Responsible for configuring, testing and updating equipment for Trade Shows and Demos
Assists in the set up and support of product for marketing shows, regional sales events and other conferences, and attends as needed
Represents the Business Solutions Department and Academy as needed
· BS or AA Information Technology (preferred)
· 2+ years technical support
· Some presentation experience preferred
· Exceptional Organizational skills
· 0 -10% travel
· Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
· Ability to think creatively and solve complex technical issues
· Familiarity with Mac OSX, Windows and Linux
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Enforces all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures
· Performs all duties in complete compliance with all legal and ethical standards
· Maintains security of proprietary information
· Performs other duties as assigned or as judgment and necessity dictates
· Able to push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds (e.g., mannequins, servers)
· Able to sit for long periods of time utilizing computer systems
