          Job Duties
          Registered Nurses (RNs) perform nursing duties that include treating residents, educating residents and their families about various medical conditions, and providing advice and emotional support to resident�s family members. �RNs record residents� medical histories and symptoms.� They help perform diagnostic tests and analyze results, operate medical machinery, administer treatment and medications, and help with patient follow-up and rehabilitation, all in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.� Reports to the Director of Nursing (DON).

          Certificates & Licenses

          Must be currently registered/licensed with the appropriate state.� Must have a CPR certification upon hire or obtain it during orientation.� CPR certification must remain current during employment.

          Skills & Abilities

          Candidates should�be computer literate and have the ability to learn and operate proprietary software used in the management and delivery of nursing services.

          Candidates must also posses the ability to communicate with residents and other facility staff.� They must be able to speak, write, read and follow instructions in English, and successfully�pass a criminal background check as well as pass any state-specific abuse/fraud registry check.�
          Required ExperienceOne year geriatric nursing experience in long-term care is preferred.Required EducationMust have a nursing diploma, (ASN or BSN) from an accredited college.Other Job Details
