Job Duties
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) provide direct care for residents whether they are sick, injured, convalescent, and/or disabled, all under the direction of physicians, and registered nurses.� They help to evaluate residents� needs, develop care plans, and supervise the care provided by nursing aides, all in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.� Reports to the Director of Nursing (DON) or other Nursing Supervisor.
Certificates & Licenses
Must be currently registered/licensed with applicable state.� Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtain it during orientation.� CPR certification must remain current during employment.
Skills & Abilities
Candidates should be computer literate and have the ability to learn and operate proprietary software used in the management and delivery of nursing services.
Candidates must also possess the ability to communicate with residents and other facility staff.� They must be able to speak, write, read and follow instructions in English, and successfully pass a criminal background check as well as pass any state-specific abuse/fraud registry check.
Required ExperienceOne year of geriatric nursing experience preferred.Required EducationMust have an LPN license from an accredited LPN program.Other Job Details
