Job Description
Responsible for the initiation, maintenance and delivery of guest services. Ability to supervise, train, and inspect the performance of the housepersons/room attendants and ensuring that all procedures are completed to the hotel’s standard.
Essential Elements:
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and employees.
* Ability to interact with guests and other employees in a courteous, empathetic and discreet manner.
* Ability to read and write Basic English.
* Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
* Ability to bend, squat, and reach on a continuous and daily basis.
* Ability to perform tasks requiring sustained repetitive motion and/or fine motor skills.
* Ability to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds.
* Ability to push and pull approximately 150 pounds.
* Ability to hear guest voices behind a closed door.
* Ability to utilize basic telephone system to communicate daily activities.
* Ability to work with chemical cleaners and disinfectants.
* Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
* Ability to adhere to Peabody grooming standards.
* Ability to uphold and exemplify PSE® standards.
* Ability to have a basic understanding of the computer systems, to include H.R. Smart evaluation process, HotSos, and Epitome.
Job Requirements
* Completes daily assignment boards of subordinates.
* Delegates daily assignments to subordinates.
* Follows-up on daily assignments of subordinates.
* Interacts with other hotel departments to achieve guest satisfaction.
* Communicates directly with guests in a courteous and professional manner.
* Controls and monitors use of equipment, chemicals and machinery utilized in achieving goals and objectives.
