Summary:
BS degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and 15 years of experience or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and 10 years of experience in scientific programming using FORTRAN, C, C++, and/or MATLAB. Candidate should be experienced in utilizing the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Maturity Level 3 Processes to support software planning documentation, requirements and design documentation, source code, software support documentation, software test plans, software test participation and interpretation, software validation and verification, and software engineering anomaly resolution support. Candidate should be a recognized professional authority and able to exercise a high degree of originality and sound judgment in formulating, evaluating, and correlating broad engineering/scientific concepts, guiding the analysis of unique problems, and developing new and improved techniques and methods. Specific experience with the Gulf Range Drone Control System (GRDCS) is highly desirable.
Position requires that candidate meet requirements to obtain a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
